Hakan SÖNMEZÖZ - Chairman

Hakan who is the founder of the Caddebostan was born in İstanbul in 1976. His success in education and his basketball ability made him a scholarship student in İstek Vakfı Belde Lisesi. In 1994, he became a physical engineering student at Yıldız Technical University but because of his interest to basketball and his career targets , in 1997 he became a student of Sports Academy of Marmara University. He completed his undergraduate and master education at this academy and after these he began to study in Yeditepe University as a master student in the sciences of education and he is stil contuining to this education. He knows english and german .

His sport life began with basketball when he was 9 years old. He played basketball at Paşabahçe-Çukurova-Fenerbahçe-DSİ and Moda Sports Clubs with licence , respectively. He gives importance to the equilibrium of his sport and education life. While his university education, he started to skiing and snowboarding with licence. Hakan’s favourite sports are ;basketball, snowboard ,wakeboard, surfing,scuba and riding. Sport is always the way of his life.

He decided to contiune his sport life as a coach because of the disability of his knees, and he got the certificate of basketball training. In 1997, he pioneered the foundation of Caddebostan Sports Club. He worked as a coach , director of the camp, coordinator, director of the sports club and the general manager ,respectively. In 2005, he was chosen to Ski Federation because of his great success in winter sports.

Hakan is stil the general manager of Caddebostan.

He has also interest in many other subjects; especially economics. His main hobbies are reading books about economics and the business life, making searchs in internet.

Tuba SÖNMEZÖZ - Deputy Chairman

Tuba , who started to work as a sportswoman at Caddebostan was born in Bursa in 1981. She completed her secondary education at Bursa. In 1998 she started to study at Yeditepe University’s Public Relations department. She had a lot of success in her education life .She is the first student from Turkey who participated to the European Communication Congress. She was the third person who won Aydın Doğan Foundation’s competition for Young Communication Majors with the project of ‘The Most Original Social Responsibility’. With the aim of perpetuating all she see, she has begun to photograhpy. Her first photographs were displayed at Yıldız Technical Universirty. She is contuining to improve her photography. Tuba knowa English at a very good level. Her targets are to contiune her education by making master on the department of psychology and learning spanish at a good level .

Tuba’s sport life has begun with swimming at Mako, Karayolları and TofaşSports Clubs with licence. In 1996 she has begun to skateboard and her interest to altenative sports has contiuned with rock climbing and mountain climbing.She got a training about mountain climbing from Yıldız Technical University which contiuned 2 years. She completed the basic parachute training at Turkish Aeronautical Association.At the same years she started snowboarding and while searching how to do the best at snowboarding , she found the Caddebostan Sports Club as the most succesful sports club at snowboard and begun to participate to races as a member of Caddebostan. Tuba’s favourite sports are ; snowboard, rock climbing, sky dive and windsurf.

She started to business life with being an intern at advertising and public relations agencies. After the university education, she worked at the university as an asistant. After her university life, she worked at a company which gives outdoor trainings as the adviser of development of communication and project for two years. She started to work at Caddebostan as a coach at the camps. Now, she is the deputy manager of Caddebostan Sports Club and also she is responsible with the public relations. She is also the photographer of Caddebostan. She has married.

Except her sport life, she likes taking photos, examining the advertisements, reading boks about advertising and public relations and also discovering new places by travelling.

Buğra Hızal - Director of Basketball Schools and Camps

Buğra who is the first sportsman of the Caddebostan , was born in 1986 at İstanbul. He completed his primary education at Zuhtupasa Primary School. He passed to Haydarpasa Technic High School because of his success (ranked 4th) at the first year of his high school education. He completed Ekol Navigation and captainship College.

He began to his sport career at Pamukspor, and contiuned with Fenerbahçe and Caddebostan , respectively.

He began to work as an assistant coach at 2000. He developed himself at basketball branch and at 2001 he began to coach teams. Bugra’s most important characteristic is handing on all his experiences and knowledge to the young sportsmen by using the best way.

Bugra’s favourite sports are snowboarding and windsurfing and his hobbies are searching on internet , reading boks, listening music and play games especially playstation with his friends.

Sedef Sevinçer - Project Development

Sedef, who has been a part of Caddebostan since 2007, was born in 1981 at Istanbul. She completed her high school education at Yalova. She started to study at Marmara University’s International Relations’ Department at 1998. She has worked at Koç ,Alarko and between 2003-2007 worked at Avon Cosmetic Products as a customer representative.

Sedef is interested in human resources and she attended to a human resources speciality certificate program of a consultancy at 2006.

During her position at Avon A.Ş.,due to her interest in project based studies,sedef got the award of success in the Improvement of Institutional Communication project.

She is a bugdet planning and sponsorship responsible at Caddebostan.

Her hobbies are riding bicycle , reading books about researchs and detective and driving car.

Her most desire is paragliding.

Can Özbalkan - Coach Of Basketball School

As a member of Caddebostan since January of 2008 Can, was born in 1986. Started elemantary school in 1992 at Mehmet Akif Ersoy İlköğretim Okulu, won scholarship in 1995 from Özel Efdâl İlköğretim Okulu and continued his education there. Finished his high school education in Istanbul Köy Hiz. Anatolian High School. Studying in Istanbul University as a forest industry Engineer since 2004 and is in his senior year
Started his basketball career in Galatasaray Basketball School, played for two seasons. Right now playing for Istanbul University. Won a bronz medal with Facility Team in Basketball Competition Between Facilities.
Beside his sport life, has achievements and cups in culture competitions in his school life. Talks english and italian. Some of his hobbies are reading, cinema and listening to the music.

Berk Peki - Coach Of Basketball School

As a former Caddebostan player, Berk was born in 1987in Amasya. Finished his elementary school in Tekirdağ, and the highschool in İstanbul. Started his university education in Marmara University Sports Academy. He’s right now in his senior year.

Started his sport career in Fenerbahçe and continued in Marmara University and Caddebostan. Joined Caddebostan in 2002 as a player, attended the camps. In the year of 2004 promoted to assistant coach but left his this position because of his busy schedule of university life in 2005. Stayed in touch with Caddebostan and returned home in 2008 starting again as a coach. Having a smiling and humorous character at practices he also cares about discipline.

Beside basketball he’s curious about other branches of sport and he’s doing it with excellence like swimming, korfball,artistic gymnastic, tennis, and volleyball. He plays for the university’s korfball and gymnastic teams. In 2006 with his gymnastic and synchronized trampoline team they’ve got the first place, in 2007 the second place in the competition of Gymnastics between the Universities. Also he has a second place award at Sport Academy Games and in Special Korfball Tournament between Universities.
His hobbies are music, dance, reading encyclopedia, watching documentaries, driving, beat-boxing, hiking, drawing, playing computer games.

Alihan Dağdelen - Coach Of Basketball School

Joining the Caddebostan Family in 2003, Alihan was born in 1981 in Istanbul. After finishing the high school at Habire Yahşi Süper High School, in year 2000 started his university life in Marmara University in Trainer Class at Sport Academy. Beside studying in university attended coaching courses which are organized by Basketball Federation and deserved to have coaching license.

Starting his sport career with basketball, Alihan played in Efes, Pamukspor, DSI, Tacspor, Modaspor, Kartalbulvar and Caddebostan in turn. His hobbies are surfing on the net, riding motorcycles and driving cars, going to movies and listening to music.
